Has anybody else had problems with disc two skipping near the end?

probably due to the excessive length of the disc. certain older CD players have trouble reading discs beyond the 74 minute mark

I just got this (finally) and had the same problem near the end of Roundabout on Disc 2. I'd be surprised if anyone was still monitoring this thread all these months later, but you never know. I have been playing it on an old Philips portable CD player here at work today. I will have to try on my car and home stereos before I can conclusively say that it's defective.

Still no problems here at all... Keep in mind that CD's play from the inside edge to the outside edge, opposite of say an album. Soemtimes a piece of lint or a finger print (for thsoe that touch the faces of the CD's wtiht heir fingers impede the laser. Also never wipe a CD in a circular motion, always with direct center to edge motions....

Nary a hint of lint, nor any scratches. Pristine condition, in fact. But as I said, I need to try it out on a newer CD player. The one here in my office has been in my possession since the 80s.

OK, it plays fine in my car, so it's not the CD, however, my PC will not import Roundabout, so I won't be able to add this version to my iPod. I've tried importing with iTunes, Exact Audio Copy and Nero and none have worked (Nero came closest - about 88%). My next step is to see if I can play the song and try to record it as it plays in real time, using Goldwave. No problems at all with Discs 1 and 3.

The final solution was just to buy Roundabout on iTunes for 99 cents, which kind of pissed me off, but it did the trick.

I had the same problem. I returned it and got another one, which is fine.

I have experienced this and it stinks.
