Do you want to know the setlist before you see the show?

I for one, don't and would be i favor of a special section of the forum to post setlists and reviews. How do you feel?

I don't mind knowing but I'd rather not. Either way will be a blast. Having concert reviews and setlists of shows from the tour should be on a special thread so we can have the option if we so desire a peek.

There's already a review and setlist section on Yesworld.com. Is it necessary to create another one on Yesfans ?

Very true, but you know the members of the site will want to post their opinions onthe concert her as well. I have no objections to that, but would like to limit those reviews to a "spoiler" area.

I agree. A spoiler's section is a good idea to keep from spoiling it for those folks who don't want to know.

I've known the set lists a couple of times and to me it's more fun not to know them.....

The trick will be not knowing the setlist before the 3rd show. :-)

YES YES YES YES YES YES

I want to know. I always want to know the set list before I go to the show. Somehow it always gets me ready for the show. My wife and I will listen to all the songs thier going to play that night on the way to the venue. By the time we get to the concert we are ready to go. In my case I am seeing yes at Universal (which is the last show) so I'll probably have a good idea by then. It's to hard not to take a peek at the set lists posted on YesWorld.

Having some idea what is was going to be in advance was one of the reasons why I decided to go see the show in Kansas.

I would like to be surprised. Especially if they bring out some of my favorites that I'm not expecting.

There is a Yesfans spoiler area, and as far as I know, when people post reviews of concerts, where they mention a set list or a couple of songs being played, in another area, the moderators of this site, imediatly move those posts to the spoiler area.

I need to know the setlist for one good reason. I like surprises, but, when I have been to a concert not knowing a setlist, I get anxious about what songs might be coming up, and end up at the end of the concert thinking, "It was a great concert BUT... I wish they'd played this...and i wish they played that."
When I know the setlist, I can prepare myself in advance for what they are about to play, and not worry about what thsy don't play, hence enjoy the event a lot more.

No way. i looked at the setlist before Classic Yes and totally lost on the surprise of hearing SSOTS. And the first time I saw them was Masterworks, and I was PUMPED when they opened with CTTE. Then this year I sat in front of some jerk who rattled off the setlist to his friends. I didn't get the duprise of hearing Turn of the Centtury or Rhythm of Love. Luckily I didn'y look before the rush concert this year, and was very pleased to hear Subdivisions.

I would, for the sole reason that I wouldn't be waiting for them to play a certain song and then end up dissappointed when they didn't, when I could be enjoying the ones they are playing.

I voted for "If I do, I do/If I dont, I dont" since i'm really not bothered. When I saw Yes at Wembley this year I knew some of the songs they would play although not the order and so I had some great surprises. Sometimes its good I know so I can anticipate a great song like And You And I!

Great point. I usually avoid spoilers and then sit through shows hoping for this or that, or wondering what's next. If you spend enough of your brain power during a concert wondering what song's next, it's real hard to enjoy the current song!

I used to get that way at Phish. Different set list every single night, so NOBODY ever knew. And they'd play a song, and then they'd jam the end part for 20 or 30 minutes or more, and the entire time, part of my mind is going "Okay, enough with this jam! What other songs do we get to hear???"

Surprises are real cool though. I was surprised at a few tunes at my last Yes show, and those moments of surprise are my favorite memories of the show.

Oh man!!! I just stupidly peeked at last night's set and ruined a couple of surprises for myself.
