Elsewhere on the site, a Yesfan mentioned that they had the cover of Tales set as wallpaper on their PC. I thought that was so cool!

I'm into great wallpaper ... landscapes, starscapes, etc ...

I even use a wallpaper manager that changes the wallpaper at intervals I set ...

I though it would be so neat to have some of the Yes album covers as PC wallpaper, changing every hour or so ...

So does anyone know where we can aquire hi-resolution digital versions of the album covers?

And does anyone know if that would be a copyright problem of any kind?

I wouldn't think it would be a big deal ... its a pretty harmless thing to do ... and hey it would be a cool conversation starter when friends visit and see your PC ... would promote Yes and Roger Dean ...

This is my first post!
I've got quite a few Roger Dean pics that work well as backgrounds. Email me and I'll give you some details :)

Sweet!!! Thanks Jaye!

I wouldn't think there would be a copywrite problem as long as you don't try to sell your wallpapers once you make them. There is Roger Dean stuff plastered all over the web, and I doubt very much they asked his permission for it.

I have all of the album covers in jpg form, but not sure if they would resize to wallpaper size or not.

Try searching http://www.google.com for "yes roger dean wallpaper." I just did and found many great pictures. They're all over the place.

I made a few images that have lyrics from Yes songs on the images. Unfortunately I made it a long time ago, before I had photoshop or a good page layout application, so the text is kind of low-quality (i.e. the edges of the fonts are not anti-aliased). Still, they're nice to look at. You can find them at http://paerdman.50megs.com/yes (takes a while to load due to big images).
