Bought this combined DVD the other day. Wow! What a great rockumentary! I saw 'Inside Yes' recently and was disappointed. Can't get over how much interview time they had with the band. I've never seen too much footage of them before in conversation except Wakeman. I learned some new details about the formation of the band and so forth. Steve Howe: I can see clearly he is the one in the band where a lot of the 'Cosmic' ideas are coming from. He really expresses himself really well here about some amazing things. Also gotta love Rick and Chris just finding fun where ever they can. And Rick having tea during Chris' bass solo. Side splitting funny. Some concert footage, but not many complete songs. This is a meet-the-band DVD.

Yes Unplugged blows me away. This was a very intimate little setting of about 100 or less and they broadcast this live to movie theaters. All acoustic and Jon played the new "Show Me." Amazing set all the way around. This is a concert DVD. Full songs. I like seeing Alan live. He has this look on his face like 'I dare you to even touch this drum set.'

Glad you liked it.
There is much more unflattering commentary around about 'Yesspeak' than there is complimentary stuff.
I hope they fixed the problem with the audio in the combined release. Mine has background music up so loud, sometimes it just isn't possible to hear what the person is saying.
Because of this, I feel that Yes Years was a better documentary all round.
How I wish that 'Full Circle' concert footage would find it's way into a proper release as well!

Yesspeak is OK, only if you're already a fan of the band. Yes Acoustic is good, but it's not exactly what was performed "live" that night. I remember at one point Jon forgetting the words to one song (I forget which, but he exclaimed "I forgot the words!" while the band kept playing), and at one point Jon made all the other band members say they loved each other (that was funny). None of that is on the Yes Acoustic DVD.
