Ahh Vox amps, My favorite. voxshowroom.com and voxtalks.com have classifieds and links to stores that sell vintage Vox, Marshall and other Brit amps. Also I've added several to my collection by searching Ebay. I'm happy to answer any general or tech questions on Vox amps. Hopefully someone will chime in on Fenders.

By the way, if you're just looking for the sound of those vinage amp types check out the Vox Valvetronix. It's the only TUBE based modeling amp and is light years beyond Lin 6, Jhonson and the like IMO. It has vintage Vox, Marshall, Fender and others. It also models many vintage effects. Although I have a nice vintage amp collection the Valvetronix is usually only amp I use for live gigs. You can check out the reviews at harmony-central.com

I'm a Fender guy myself. My pride and joy is the Super Reverb. This is not like the Twin Reverb, in that the Twin is super "clean" at any volume level (In fact, this is my ONLY complaint with Steve's sound over the last 10 years or so. I would like his stage sound to be a bit dirtier, a little more edge, like he had back in the seventies....anyway). The Super Reverb can be clean up until you hit "4" on the volume...then the amp can get "down and dirty". Also, the 4x10's on the Super kick ass!!.
As far as Fender's go, there's the Re-issue series which includes the '65 Twin Reverb (which, as mentioned, Steve uses on stage), '65 Deluxe Reverb, '59 Bassman and the aforementioned (sp) '65 Super Reverb (which, back in the EARLY days, Steve used at one time). You can find these amps at the big stores (GC, Sam Ash, etc.) as well as the GOOD "Mom and Pop" stores.
For finding "vintage gear", try Vintage Guitar magazine (I believe the web site is vguitar.com). This is a great resource for tracking down vintage guitars and amps. Plus, they usually have some cool interviews with "vintage" players.
Also, it was mentioned above about the Vox Valvetronix. Don't forget the Fender Cyber-Twin or Cyber-Deluxe. They are worth a look too.
