OK, this may seem strange for someone who has listened to Yes since 1976 or so but......................................I have never listened to 90125 from start to finish.
I have heard a couple of tracks from it on the Yesyears box-set and of course you'd have to have lived on Neptune not to have heard Owner of a Lonely Heart!
Anyway, all that will change because I just bought the Rhino remaster and I'm going to skin up a mind warp and surf through the album later this evening. :D
If it grabs me at all I'll try Talk next and if that seems OK I'll maybe even try Big Generator, although the tracks from that on YesYears bore me senseless.
Once more into the breach...wish me luck, I'm going in.

Dah du du dah dah.
90125 and Talk are genius...I can live without BG though....

WoW Altres! For the best experience crank it up on a good stereo or headphones. I didn't used to like 90125 but it has really grown on me over the years. Either that or my expectations and standards are lower now! LOL

I just discovered 90125 2 weeks ago and can honestly say I have never (in my 52 years) been so inspired or so totally blown away by an album in its entirety as I was by 90125. Between my 45 minute each way commute to work and the time spent listening to it while surfing the net, I can safely say I listen to well over 3 hours of 90125 a day. Anyway, as Kevin said, this set of songs is best enjoyed at an extremely loud level (and for me this is saying something, as I usually don't like most music cranked up this loud). I truely enjoy every song (well, except that dance version of OOALH that really doesn't belong here anyway and City, which while being quite good on its own, doesn't quite move me like the rest of the songs) on the Rhino remastered version that includes the a capella version of Leave it. That song still can send shivers down my spine, especially the a capella version. Anyway, Brian, I can only your experience was at least 1/10 what it has been for me.

90125 doesn't suck..at all!!
A nice answer to the Yes question for the 80's...
I admire how popular they became from this album...

Leave It is my favorite song on that album!
And Shoot High Aim Low on BG is brilliant!

90125 was in my regular rotation when it came out - I was happy that Yes was still alive and kicking, after a long hiatus! I found much to like on it, especially Hold On and Hearts (my favorite) :hearts:
