Not too much happened on August 27 so I skipped that one.

But August 28 is a different story - In 1978 the opening night of the Tormato tour at Rochester NY. The first 'In the Round' concert, first time Yes played the Tormato songs OTSWOF, Future Times/Rejoice, Circus of Heaven & Release Release, the first time Yes played their medley that included Soon as a stand alone piece for the first time, and the first time Yes used the Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra as their intro.

In 2002, Symphonic Live DVD & In a Word Yes (1969-) were released in Japan

In 1976, Olias of Sunhillow peaked at #12 in the UK charts

Yes also played in 1977, 1989 (ABWH), 1994, 2001 & 2004.

It is a classical piece by Benjamin Britten used by Yes (and later ABWH) as their intro instead of the Firebird Suite.

August 27, 1977 I saw Yes for the first time.
GFTO Tour at the Municipal Auditorium, Nashville.:cloud9:

My 28 year anniversary has passed.
Gawd, I can hardly believe so much time has gone by!

To all the members of Yes, past and present (whoever the hell that is :winknudge )
Thanks for the ride!

LOL!
I probably saw you and Diane (Tardis), both. We had to wait a quarter of a century to meet.

I just checked, it was the 27th. Fer sure.

Well I remember you from P.O.C. anyway. That shirt. It stood out.
