How many shows do you think you will make on this tour?
I plan on all NoCal and Nevada shows, plus one trip somewhere else, maybe Denver, maybe Albuquerque, maybe Seattle. I figure 3 shows. :-))))

I've got to go to work at 2:00 don't they understand I needto know before that. I mean shouldn't they be catering to my own personal needs. If not I'll have to call in and explain to my boss that they haven't announced the dates yet and maybe I'll show up when they do.

I know how you feel - I got up first thing in the morning and checked; no luck! I'm now at the office with tons of stuff to do, and keep checking to no avail. Can't focus on anything!

They're toying with us. Playing around with our hearts and minds. Should we stand for this. Can we accept that Yes' management is controlling our lives?

Mind control, I am all for it. Just ply me with YES and I will follow you anywhere. :-)
I want to see Magnification-->Spirit of Survival at Konocti!!!!!!!
Hoping for a second NoCal show, maybe Concord.......

Will they play Milwaukee, or do I have to go to Chicago? I need to know. I need to know now! I can't take this anymore!!!

I would suggest reading the Chicago thread to find out where? There is a lot of information there..

I'm heading to the Gates of Delirium because they haven't announced anything yet. I really desparately want them to come to Florida. My summer will be yet another disappointing one if they don't come to Florida. My heart is beating with anticipations. I am waiting.
CathyG

gt76yesman - I've been checking the Concord and Shoreline Websites for weeks; nothing yet. Shoreline's closer to me, but the parking is abysmal. Concord was a great venue last year! In any event, I'm holding my breath until the 12th to get my Konocti tix. . .

CathyG, I like Concord and have had excellent success with scoring great tickets (including front-row-center for Union). Never had good luck at Shoreline, haven't seen a show at the Sacto Amp (AutoWest Amp).
I would love YES to go to Florida Yesboy, I would come visit, I have relatives and friends all over the state!

The YESWORLD site was updated. I've looked at it a couple of times. Updated aroung midnight East Coast time. Keep trying.
I'm with you Yesboy81. Where are they hiding those dates? I went there moments ago and I could not find anything.
Ok, under news I just saw Jones Beach. That's all though. HOWERU, perhaps you can see something I cannot. Do you see anything on the St. Louis date?
HOWERU
05-07-2002, 12:42 AM
Click on "TOUR" tab on top, between "NEWS" and "STORE".
Dates are there.

Nowhere near here..Closest I guess is Mo. or Cleveland. It's really disappointing they aren't coming to Cincinnati...
Hey yessiree--is Maryland Heights (?) a suburb of St. Louis?
Mine says "more dates to be announced". Again, HOWERU, do you see St. Louis?
Jack where is it??????!!! Tell me, I'm dying here in suspense!!!!

Go directly to the YESWORLD site or in the YESFANS site, YESWORLD is also available. At the top of the site page, click on "TOUR" and tab down to see all dates. Believe me it is there.
yesboy81
05-07-2002, 01:00 AM
Well, how many dates do you see? Because mines has only the NJ and Denver show, then I clicked on the ticketmaster site and It adds Jones Beach to it.

Yay!! They're playing at the Mars Music Ampitheatre!!! Two years ago I was there to see them on the Masterworks Tour (had lawn seating). Now this time, I'm getting the good seats!!.

I see it now. I don't know why I could not see that. Maryland Heights is St. Louis. Busy week for me--denver, st. louis, chicago. Anybody know where that Kansas site is? Is it near KC. You see I'm so excited I don't even care what is capitalized and can hardly even spell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where is Indianapolis and Memphis and Nashville? I wanted to go to those too!

Looks like a much smaller tour this year. So few CA shows too. I thought for sure they would go to San Diego.

The good news is that Yes is at Merriweather in Columbia; within walking distance of my home. The bad news is that I have vacation scheduled at that time. Well, vacation schedules can be changed...
One thing to remember is that this tour listing can change at anytime. I do remember a couple of tours ago Merriweather was on the tour list, but a few weeks later it mysteriously disappeared. I hope this time, it sticks.

Yesworld does say that there could be more dates added.
I'm going to Seattle, YEAH!!! I wish they would come to Vancouver, but I guess that's too much to hope for.
Does anyone know what the Paramount is like as a venue? Thank god it's not the Gorge.

Hi guys!
YesWorld updated the tour schedule at 11:56 pm last night (squeaking it in there before May 6th was over.) However, I was online and chatting with a friend. She could access the entire schedule and my PC read "Updated from May 2nd" so you people who couldn't access the tour schedule were not alone. It is there now though.
I have PNC tix and I'll be trying for Camden tix as soon as a sale date is announced. RCMH is a maybe as I was there for their last show of the Symphonic tour, last year and it's the most expensive venue in my area.
After everyone has their tix for the NY/NJ/PA shows, we can discuss tailgates for the various venues. I belong to another Yes Club and we all like to hook up before the show in the parking lot.
We can start a new thread for each venue.
And I will be there.....

Yay Camden!
Despite having to drive through a war zone to get there, this is a gorgeous venue with a beautiful view of the Philadelphia skyline. A perfect setting for Yes music. Tolerable security and staff helps, too.
I hope the lads will fill up their itinerary for the folks who are missing out. More dates to be announced sounds encouraging, right?????
Fingers crossed for you guys.

Is anybody else still not able to access the updated tour page?
Soooooo frustrating......well even though Dee (bless you)
took the time to type up the schedule, it would be nice to be able to see it on Yes world....
The home page says it's updated, but when I click on tour
it still has the May 2nd info...

Donner,
I've never seen a show at this particular venue but I've only heard great things about it and I agree that the view of Philly across the river at night should be spectacular. I'm looking forward to it.
I heard mixed things about the Mann Center last year before I went but I loved it. The location wasn't too bad, the sound was decent, security was non-intrusive to our enjoyment before, during and after the show.
PaulH....I had that problem last night but I am getting the updated schedule today. Although, I am having problems with accessing some other pages today.

Hey, Trooper - Camden's very nice (the venue that is, not the town). From Phish to Yes to Willie Nelson (of all people), it's been tons of fun with crystalline sound to boot. Saw the Masterworks tour there and came away with no complaints.
The Mann is also nice but not as "open" as Camden. If I recall, everyone was shuttled through one entrance causing crowding and some disgruntlement among my fellow concert goers. Camden allows a little more elbow room when one needs to stretch their legs. The sound and seating at the Mann were superb, however.

See, now I heard from friends who I saw the next night at PNC, that the sound wasn't so great at the Camden Masterworks show. Interesting.
Anyway, I just posted that tix for the Camden show go on sale June 1st...FYI

yes, not sure where (maybe colt park) and from what i heard the was a review about Rick saying that he looked like an octopus out of control, and I guess Rick was pretty self conscience about that ,so a D.J. at the show had a sparkley cape on and rick offered him $50 or so and the D.J. said no , so Rick kept offering more and more and finally Rick said I'll give you what i have($200 or so) and the D.J. finally gave in and sold it to him, and the legand lives on. At least that is what i have heard ! If anyone else knows , let us know if i am right!!

I'd heard rumblings after the show about the sound as well, but everything seemed fine to me. I took a friend (an avowed bluegrass fan) to see this show (his first) thinking that he'd hate it. Sitting in the second to last row of the pavillion, I noticed a slight bleeding in the guitar but nothing annoying. To enhance my friend's enjoyment of the show, though, we went to the lawn after Gates. Clear sound, no bleeding.
And my friend loved the concert and is coming back for his third show in August! He said, "I never knew they could jam like that!" Welcome to our world.
