Hi, I'm Chris from the North of England.

I'm 34 and I've been a Yes fan since the age of 13. I've seen Yes, ABWH, etc more times than I care to remember. I lost interest in the band around the time of Magnification, but now I've come back to the fold.

I'm also a massive fan of Led Zeppelin too!

Unfortunately I won't be around to post much in the next few weeks as I'm currently in the middle of a house move.

Regards,

Chris

Nice to see another northener here! We are trying to set up a new chapter here, have a look for the NE-NW england yesfans thread. I shall bump it up for you, just post on there and it will help our small numbers!!

Welcome Chris from a fellow Kris. I'm in my first week here and have loved every minute so far, I hope you will to. If Magnification seemed a bit of a letdown to you, don't feel that you are alone. I was disillusioned with it until I heard the material played live on the Symphonic DVD. Something about live renditions brings new light to their music for me and I was instantly converted to a Magnification fan. I remember actually rolling my eyes and groaning when I first heard ' In The Presence Of ', then reminding myself that YES music requires a certain familiarity to be properly appreciated. Remember how ' Hearts ' started out sounding clunky and then blossomed into unparralled beauty? Its the old artist's tool of using contrast to accentuate, and ITPO is a masterful example of this.
Enough of my rambling. Again, welcome and I hope to hear from you after you get settled into your new place.

Hey Chris. Welcome to Yesfans. It's nice to meet you. Moving can be a pain, I know cause I did it myself a few months ago. You'll find a lot of great people here, so please come back when you're settled in.
