In 1976, Yes played in Detroit and from this show Ritual and Gates of Delirium were recorded and used on Yesshows

In 2000, the Masterworks concert was broadcast on radio in the US

And of course in 2004 we saw the opening night of the second leg of the US tour with Yes supported by Dream Theater in Quebec City.

Other Yes concerts were played in 1968 (their second show at the Marquue Club), 1977, 1984, 1989 (ABWH), 1994, 2002.

August 17, 1977 - the day I went to the University of Miami to start my college career.

The correlation? I brought all of my Yes albums with me!

On August 17, 1987 the harmonic convergence of serveral planets in our solar system occurred which had provided the basis for the Big Generator track "O Holy Lamb".
