The big event on this day occurred in 1971 when Yes started to record Fragile at the Advision studios, London, with Rick Wakeman who had just joined.
In 1969, Yes played their first concert in France (in Paris).
Other concerts occurred in 1972, 1976, 1984, 1989 (ABWH), 1994, 2001 & 2002.

What was the date of their first North American show in Edmonton?
I lived there but was probably working in the Porcupine Hills southwest of Calgary near Frank Slide, darn!

Many thanks; I started silvaculture in the Rockies southern Alberta June 10, 1971 on my eighteenth birthday and June 24, being exactly two weeks later, was an impossible day for me to be in Edmonton, darn.
Usually we rode by truck to Calgary and I bussed home for weekends. Wish I'd been able to see them.
In August that year when I was at home they ran 'Your Move...' on radio and an interview of Steve Howe which hugely enlarged my awareness of Yes' wonders.
