While browsing through an article on '50 forgotten albums for guitarists' or some similar title I was pleasantly surprised to find the inclusion of 'Yes' with a very upbeat review of Peter Banks' work, Bill Bruford's 1986 compilation 'Masterstrokes' with Alan Holdsworth being praised and Trevor Rabin's 1989 'Can't Look away'. Not a bad effort for the Yes connection!
... is a FANTASTIC album. When it first came out, I played nothing else for months.
I had it on CD, and someone stole it. With considerable justification, I suspect my kid brother.

I also really liked CAN'T LOOK AWAY!
I suggest that CAN'T LOOK AWAY is the perfect answer to all the critical music fans who try to dismiss Yes veteran Trevor Rabin as a "glam rocker" or an empty guitar hero.
There is more heart, passion, sophistication, conscience, and talent in that album that almost any solo album by any recent artist I can think of.
Agree? Disagree?

Excellent points Q.
honestly, i would need to revisit it. in fact, i need to reaquire it, as my old type is quite destroyed by now.
but yes, i recall finding the album to be anything but 'glam rock', and quite impressed at how much more sophisticated the album was than i had anticipated based on the single. not that the single was bad ...
i just recall expecting the single to be the 'icing on the cake', and pleasantly surprised that there was much more ...
