With the highly anticipated release of Songs From Tsongas here in the US I thought a new game is in order. (Should this be in the game forum?)
We have heard there are Smatt sighting on the video which I have seen first hand and can verify. So lets see if you can spot Smatt on the video.
There are bonus points available for spotting Dantalion Rides Again (and wife).
Any other YesFan sightings are worth bonus points too. :heydude:
Have fun! :yesbird:

Omar and Smatt are at the beginning of OoaLH - the best fan shot I've seen from the PBS video.. I did see myself a few times , "buried" in the 3rd row, directly in front of Rick. It will be interesting to see if there's any better shots of me on the DVD.

I spotted myself right in the begining of "Going for the One". I remember it got wicked hot in that place. I watched disk one(got the last one at Circuit city today, Best Buy was all out) I think they did a wonderful job of filming this. Lots of closeups! Steve and Rick solo's! Not to forget Jon, Chris and Alan

You can also see me and my SIGN at the end of YIND..
and at the end of RoL, I'm behind Jon..wow I'm in a video with Jon.
a heart with YES in it,
I got this Idea from the Paul McCartney video, his crew held up signs at the end of his show.
I made my sign Knowing I was in the Front, and filming.
I also made a Small sign that i copied and handed out 100 of them to people in the 1st 2 rows before the Encore. We held them up when the Band came onstage. For some reason they cut the moment the Band came back onstage for the Encore, but you can see these small signs in the crowd for the last 2 songs, and at the end of the show!
I love the DVD cause it's a Great selection of songs!
It will also help us get through the next 2 weeks, which were to be filled with 5 shows of the More Drama Tour.
Everyone enjoy,
MikeYESfan

OK... Ill play.
Who goes to a concert and puts their hands high in the air the whole time? We all do.
Im not missing a finger, though... Its sort of a combination of 'i love you' in sign language, and 'peace'. Just curl the ring finger only over at the knuckle.
You can see me pretty much anytime the camera shot from center section floor is used.
My buddy Mike looks back, he is to my left, right at the camera at one point with a funny knowing grin!
I loved that show alot... but it still didnt hold a candle to CT the year before with Porcupine Tree warming up... and the most mind numbing performance of CTTE I have ever heard... EVER.
There are quite a few very quick moments where my brother and I are on. Blink and you miss them though. We were front row, in front of Rick, and next to Dantalian and his wife.
Hit pause at the 47:52 mark of disc 2 (during "And You And I"). Directly to the left of Rick's head is me and then my brother. Rick is blocking Dantalian though. There are a lot of shots of us at the beginning of Ritual. I must have been really into it because I got the head bobbin' thing going but good. :)

Yup, PeabodyMat---from the old AOL Yes BB days (long may she wave!). For some who might not know the history of the Got Yes? banner, it was developed by Eddie Lee (:hearts:) and has been pretty much EVERYWHERE! CybrKhatru and I held it in Anaheim. I just love the history of this thing! My only regret is that we didn't have it in SLO (IIRC, the "Got _______" phenomenon was big in the media the following year).
I still have to watch the entire Tsongas DVD. I might have to do that this week.
I hurt my right hand/wrist and arm last night at Asia (too much exuberant 'fist in the air' antics), so I gotta go! As a result, this post has taken me too long to write!

Going to have to look for some of you lovely folks when I can get myself over the distraction that is this great, great performance, lol...
Ah, but instead of going to Tsongas, we attended MSG two nights earlier...
This concert, Tsongas, was recorded on my 46th birthday...
If I had to choose, looking back on it now, which show I could've attended, can I choose both?
