Well we have done the albums, now the DVD/videos. Lets see what we think about the quality of all these Yes visual offerings. Just give it your rating out of ten and eventually we'll be able to give our Yesfans combined opinion.

I really like the Owner video. I think it was ahead of its time. The "It Can Happen" video was cool too. Don't care much for Madrigal though heheee.

Nice to have these all in one place. The high point for me is "Wondrous Stories" although "Madrigal" and "Whale" are cool too in a kind of cheezy '70's way. I say that "Madrigal" shows a band in full seriousness musically (The Howe/Wakeman combinations are among their best ever) but also willing to poke fun at itself.
The Drama videos are remarkable - - I suppose from rehearsals for the tour? The set I believe is from the 80 tour.
The sad part is that every video - - I believe - - is lip synched and "performance synched" - - that is, the music is just the album cuts and the boys are going through the motions. But I guess that is just in the nature of music videos....

Trevor is pretty blatant on Tempus but, like you I enjoy it.

Chris flubs the lyrics too on Tempus Fugit's video. If you watch him during one part he can't keep up with the speed or forgot them (Im sure they were still being memorized at the time and are quite complicated) But he rolls his eyes and gives his head a toss..like..OOPS!

Like most, I gave it a 7. Some of the stuff just looks so cheesy now, but I hadn't seen any of these, except for Owner and ROL.
My favorites are the ones taken from what I'm guessing is the film of the 90125 tour.

I gave it a 5. My highlight is Wonderous Stories, and I like Tempus Fugit and Owner. The rest is just OK.

For me the two Drama videos (and the banter inbetween the songs) are the highlights.

I give it a 7. I like the Wonderous Stories video alot, the 2 Tormato videos cause they're so lo-fi it's funny, they're rarely seen and they're an interesting time piece. The Drama videos and track intros are my favorite parts. Owner is interesting too, the video was directed by Storm Thorgson, responsible for alot of Pink Floyd's album covers and films projected during their live shows. The rest is okay, I don't watch it alot but I remeber the Big Generator videos from when I was a kid so that's like a neat time capsule for me.

Only 9 votes but averaging 7.33
I put a 7.
The good point of this DVD is that it gathers all the videos.
There were some of them which I had never seen before on TV.
Overall I don't think they are good videos - somewhat ridiculous and cheesy - except for Owner of a Lonely Heart, which I find an excellent video. I liked it at the time of the release; and more than 20 years later I still think it a good one, well directed.

Yes were never masters of the video age were they?
Some of them are seriously lacking in budget, the production values are particularly low on the likes of 'Whale'
I too like the Drama stuff, if for no other reason than having a laugh at those godawful early '80s costumes.

I have it and watch it, because, that's basically all we have, (I also sometimes watch the Buggles and ABWH videos), but I gave it about a 7. Not Yes's forte it seems, though OoaLH was pretty creative, si no?

I have it an 8. The only video I've never cared for is "Rhythm of Love." I just love "It Can Happen."

Worst Yes DVD. Let's face it, videos are not their strong point. I gave it a 2.

I think I bought this used to add to the collection, watched it once and that was it. I’ll have to give it another spin, but I’d probably not rate it very high.
