People still talk about the Beatles... Hendrix... The Doors... Joplin, and others. A new perspective is born every minute, even if it's different from our own, it may shed light... isn't that worth looking forward to? I hope the site continues. :headset:

I will visit this site for as long as it exists.
Genesis and Pink floyd are no more, yet they have websites.
The people that post here are witty, sincere, trustworthy and good company as far as is humanly possible in cyberspace.
Again, I will visit this site as long as it exists, as long as i have the internet or until I pass on! Thats not to say I might not lose interest at some point in my life!

I'll probably get involved with a Monkees website myself...

:lmao: Just kidding!

Ya know we're all in this for the long haul Tim! Actually, the world will need Yesfans more than ever if there isn't an actual YES... But I tend to think there will always be a YES... As long as most of the guys are still playing.

We probably wont always get an annual tour, things will eventually slow down for the guys. But remember, YES are Yesfans too, and I can't see the band going gently into the night.

I'll always be here on Yesfans, my friends live here, ya know? So not to worry Tim! You run a tight ship my man, kudos.

Yup, I thought somebody had shut it down!

I think a lot of people ( me included) would still keep visiting for the crack if nothing else. No doubt there's a lot more life in a site when the band are still active but there's still a lot to talk about. They'll be around for a good while yet.

Of course I would still come. This is a special place to me now. I enjoy "talking" with everyone here and I've made so many friends. There's no doubt I'd be here.

Time for me to be serious. (No, really!)
I've meet a lot of great people on this site. They are now life time friends. I hope this site never goes away, even if YES stops. I don't want YES to stop...EVER! I'm a total YES FREAK! UNTIL I DIE!
But you guys are so cool to hang out with, that I'll never forget you....ALL! And I hope this site will live long past us, and move on, and on, to others.

When the patriarch of your family passes on, do you forget about the rest of your family?

I think not.

funny, today I was talking with a good friend about what to do when things slow down with Yes. There's no direct plan for a new album, everyone is doing solostuff...WE NEED A NEW ALBUM!!

And of course I will stay on, we might be doing this for 40 more years...when Earl really is grey and Jon is 101...

Joe

Silly question . . .

Yes-related things will NOT stop

Elvis Presley stopped but Elvis-related things will NEVER stop

Besides, THIS is the band that will be playing until they all drop dead or stroked out or hit by buses (that sure didn't come out right . . . ) I mean, like BB King or Ray Charles or Ella Fitzgerald or Bob Dylan - To live is to do music: Music is life!

I think I'll see how many copies of "Fish Out of Water" I can wear out in one lifetime . . .

good people good times past and present...
although we may not have met then... I can think of 8 times in last 35 years that I have sat and stood with some of you right next to me and we probably smoked a joint together and just had a blast... It takes many many years to share past experiences and as long as I have one finger, my eYes, my mouth, and my nose I will always be able to type.

Tim, you can count on my being around at least till May 14, 2036 when I go find out if Adam and Eve had children with their children's childrens children so I can report to Cinderella before Sept 13, 2056 when she splits!

By the way... Check is in the mail for my first copy of CD

when a band or a person goes away, that doesn't mean everything associated with them has to... we'll always have the music that's been made, and I plan to continue talking about them indefinitely...

I believe (as Master Wakeman) that there will always be a Yes. I like to imagine that, when we're old and ('Earl'), that there'll be posts discussing how well the new generation of Yes does the classic stuff, and could the origianl Yes have accomplished thus -and-such that's just been released. Yesmen (and women) may come ande go, but Yes music is now and forever.

I don't envision this site going anywhere but, into the future.I've only been here since Jan.In that time I've met members in NYC(Homer,Harry,Yvette,Marge,Arlene,Dee,Alec and Amy)and "The Locusts"(Earl,Lisa,Timmo,Matt,Kathy and Patrick)(listed in order of meeting).Had a phone conversation with everyone's fave Scooty.Received great reputation comments. As well as great responses to my posts within threads.I could go on but,I believe Yes brought us all here and once here we got to know each other. The friendships will keep this site going if Yes as we know it ends.NEVER

I feel like I just gave Jon impetus to write...
