It occurs to me that, since I just started posting again after almost two years away, it would be approprite to explain my absence and events leading up to my cming back.
A lot of it was job and technology related ( big surprise there, huh?). Up through the end of 2002, I had unlimited access to the 'net via the workplace. I rarely posted from home, since I had a computer from the lattter part of the Ice Age; a Wurm-era computer if you like!
So of course, one day I'm called into the office and told that I'm one of the top fifty computer users in my company, based on logged-in time spent 'off site'. :ahhhhh: Big whoops, since I'm a QA type, not an info guy.
At long last my old HP Vectra with it's blazing 166 Mz pentium one processor finally died this summer. Now that I have a current computer again, I have returned to fill your minds with all the early Yes stuff I remember, and generally have a good time!
