Has anyone bought this DVD yet?

I got mine a couple of days ago. :headset:

The interviews, recorded during the Union tour, make this collection of videos even better.

I've had it for a couple of years now - only played it once but enjoyable. It was released in Australia during the 2003 tour.

I have an older Canadian DVD pressing. I like it for the rare Tormato and Drama videos it includes and some Rick comedy gold at the end of the video. It's where I got my sig from.

It's a classic piece of Yes history.

I may not be thrilled by the 'pop' type film clips, but I wouldn't be without it in my collection

I also have it on laserdisc, but saw this in the store a couple days ago and thought about buying it. How is the sound of the dvd? is it true 5.1 surround?

It's one of my favorite videos ever.

I had it on VHS for a long time.

I love the Wonderous Stories video, the Drama cuts (very well done), Hold On and AGP from 9012Live (although the animation and film clips are pretty lame). Love Will Find A Way is pretty good also, as is the Owner video.

The rest is pretty lame. ROL was such a great song at the time, but the video was awful. So was Leave It, It Can Happen, DKTW and Madrigal, imo. Good songs, bad videos.

The sound for what I watch is good. Actually I paid $16.00 for three songs, the trauma stuff could have been left off. The 91025 just allfull,of course that was about the time music video's were in their infantcy. I have always hated the OOALH video, then having to put up with Rabin on AGP was a migrane.

Talking about animation DKTW, terrible almost bad as I believe it was Leave it. It's a shame that Yes can release a DVD of them atually performing from a show for the complete DVD. I am a camera, roflmao such a joke. Maybe I will pop in Symphonic or The Eagles from Melbourne.

My positive comment the sound is good and if you like all the music on the DVD then buy itm turn off the monitor and listen to the music in DTS!

I find it pretty interesting that Storm Thorgson directed the Owner of Lonely Heart video. I wish he had directed some more videos.

The only one that I usually skip Madrigal

That end bit with Rick rattling off the songs he wasn't involved with and finally declaring "what a bloody waste of time" never fails to crack me up!!

I've had my DVD for about a year. The sound is good. It's a hoot seeing the "outfits" these guys wore in the 80s.

The two Drama tracks really stood out for me ( some of Steve's best work)and I really liked the videos taken from what I assume is the 90125 tour video (soon to be reissued we 've been told - I can't wait).

I really liked the version of All Good People - I thought Trevor took the elements of what Steve had done originally and shifted it more towards the blues/rock vein, and very sucessfully I thought.

This really fills in some of the missings pieces from their history.

Now if they would only reissue the Union tour DVD......

I haven't got it yet (the dvd). Could someone tell me if OOALH is the Long Version (maggotts in the guys eyes); or the short, edited version. Thanks R.D.

Thanks for mentioning this one! I had seen it when I bought the Tsongas DVD and reminded myself to pick this up, but forgot to go back. My wife (the REAL tecladista in our family) really likes it (well, we both think into the lens is a bloody waste of time) and told me that a friend of hers bought it in the US quite a few years ago and she had tried unsuccessfully to find a copy in Brasil. This made her quite happy that I found this available.

We both enjoyed the Madrigal the most...

The image and sound are quite good, even the 70's stuff.

We had a great time watching this and commenting on the attire and the hair, etc... A fun way to go retro....

Does anyone know whether the DVD edition adds anything new compared to the VHS ?

Not that I've heard. Someone would have said so if it did.
