A few interesting Yes events on this date.

Probably the most important occurred in 1972 when Bill Bruford officially left Yes to join King Crimson.

In 1969, Yes played their first concert in the Republic of Ireland supported by The Nice in Dublin

In 2002, Yescapade was held at Konocti and of course Yes played as well.

Other concerts were held in 1970, 1971, 1975, 1991, 1994, 2000 & 2003

On this day in 1986 Van Halen (Hagar) headlined the Texxas Jam/Monsters of Rock festival in Dallas, TX at the Cotton Bowl. Other bands performing that day were: BTO, Keel, Krokus, Dio, and Loverboy.
