Possibly the most interesting event on this day occurred in 2000 with the release of the House of Yes - Live from HOB DVD in the USA/Canada.

Another piece of trivia - Alison Steele interviewed Chris Squire about Fish out of Water in 1976 on Radio USAR and played Silently Falling, Hold out your hand & Lucky Seven.

Yes have played quite a few concerts as always - an interesting feature on this day is the quality of the other acts on the card - The Nice in 1969, Jethro Tull in 1971, Joe Walsh in 1975, Alan Parsons in 1998 and Kansas in 2000. They also played without support in 1984, 2003 & 2004. But in 1994 - the Vancouver Talk concert was cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

Add your memories of this Yes day

It was either 11th July or 12th July 1984 at one of the Wembley Arena concerts that Jon Anderson halted proceedings to announce that Alan White's wife had just given birth. This means that the 'baby' is celebrating his/her 21st birthday today/tomorrow. That's quite a Yes moment I think.

I was only watching this DVD yesterday - I must have known (but I didn't!).
