I know there is another thread on this somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Yes hit top spot a day after 'Live 8' without even playing!
Of course we have to take into account the huge backlog of orders from the continual delay to release date. B ut even still quite an effort.
Higher than Paul Mc Cartney, U2, Coldplay, Live Aid and Queen. So quite impressive indeed, especially the Live Aid one as everyone new Live 8 was coming up and you would have expected maybe a surge in Live Aid sales in anticipation of Live 8.
It will be interesting to see what happens once post Live 8 sales kick in and the log of backorders of 'Tsongas' have been cleared. Still Yes are No. 1 for the second time in less than a year, let's hope this encourages Jon to believe it is worth continuing.
