June 26 - this day in Yes history

Not much happened in Yeshistory on June 25 so I gave it a miss.

June 26 is much more interesting but I'll only mention the highlights

1971 - Yes played their first show in the US as the support act to Jethro Tull in Seattle

1984 - Yes played their first concert in Austria

1998 - First day of Yestival 98 - Yes played in Holmdel NJ supported by Alan Parsons

One thing on June 25 : 1969 Yes played at the Marquee club.

Not much happened in Yeshistory on June 25 so I gave it a miss.



It was my mom's birthday that's why.
every year the band come over to our place and celebrate it with us (except in 1969 when they had to play at the marquee).
Rick always used to eat all the cake before I got home from school.
Jon and steve would never let me watch the afternoon cartoons on tv as they said that they (the cartoons) would corrupt my mind... Alan and Chris were much more fun.... then my mom would come home from work and they would all bugger off leaving me to explain the mess and no cake....
