We've seen it with all the other Rabin-era albums, remastered and expanded. When do you think we will see the release of this if at all?

Goodness, wouldn't that be great? It is my understanding, however, that unfortunately, although just about completed, Rhino pulled the plug on it shortly before its release...

Sales probably. The Rhino remasters didn't sell enough to justify more to be released.

That's just speculation on behalf though

It's probably not that far off the mark. Besides, Big Generator sold decent, but was not a massive hit like 90125.

Why??

Rhino said it was because they couldn't find sufficient material to supply bonus tracks. That is obvious nonsense, so I'm guessing it was because of expected poor sales reflecting either sales of the previous remasters and/or back catalogue sales generally of Big Generator.

The Japanese HDCD releases don't include any bonus tracks. Their packaging is nice, but opinion varies as to whether they are better or worse remastered than alternatives. Generally, I think the Rhino re-releases sound better, but that's not an option with BG.

Watch for it on eBay, that is where I got mine. TWO different versions of Shoot High, Aim Low on it! Trevor sings lead on Rythym of Love on it too! If you see it, buy buy buy!
