Looking for other YesHeads to play with norht of San Francisco. I can play bass or drums to any Yes, with some work I could play most of the keyboard pieces, but lack the proper equipment.
Hoping to hear lots of Magnification this summer!

Howdy, I am an old rocker (47) with a great job in Chcio, so trying to put a band together at that distance may be tough, however, I like the YES & originals part. I have written many originals that the bands I have played with could not handle musically. Changing time signatures is really hard for the uninitiated, :-)
I played with a Grateful Dead band the last 10 years and they do some mild time changes but it took a lot of work for the weaker players. I wrote out some of the guitar and bass parts for tougher pieces like Terrapin Station and Slipknot.
Do you know any vocalists or guitarists interested?
What instrument do you play?

Glendo,
Do you have an ADAT? we could swap tapes or something.
I could also send wav files. Check out my web page and download the stuff from my last album. It's pretty simple but it was my first try making an album soli on my computer. I have much better equipment now and some more advanced idear an how to go about making prog songs. I play all the instriments and vocals. I have a guitarest that is good but I'm really stuggling to find a descent drummer.
My web site is at www.ncws.com/raiched
I'll write more latter.
looking forward to hearing some of your originals.

I don't have ADAT yet. My friend does and I think I am going to get one soon. They are pretty inexpensive. I have several tapes that I played all the instruments and vocals on myself, although lead vocals are not my forte. I can find a harmony to anything. Back in college I was a lead vocalist drummer in my original band, but that was a while ago. :-)

I haven't played the drums in years. But I have a Roland electronic kit. And i used to be able to play YIND (but not GoD). Probably i'd be good for the first 20 minutes of some vaguely progish jam session. Then i'd be shown the door...
