Beards. are they necessary?

I am an occasional beard wearer, but it always disappears on a windy day. :rightG: This guys got a beard.
So, guys and gals, are beards cool or not?

Hot, scratchy, sweaty... and GREY! On me any way. The wife loves big bushy beards and I had one once, but like I said too much grey these days LOL.
