I just read some posts for favourite Steve solos and I thought it was time to do the same for mr. White. :drmmr:

To get things started: I like his work on Rick's Six Wives Of Henry VIII.
Especially Catherine Parr. He was very fresh and enthousiastic on it.

But I also love the very understated cymbal work on Wonderous Stories.
It's subtle, but once you've noticed it, you'll never listen to that song the same way again.

Sound Chaser, in its entirety, is a wonderful showcase of the talents of Alan White.

Yah RABARKS his work on Anne Cleves is amazing, every time I listen to that I always say to myself "Whose is in the limelight Rick Wakeman or Alan White?". Alan and Rick are very funky on that track

With Yes his best drumming is on Sound Chaser, especially that little high-hat part its very cool drumming.

His work on Criminal Record is fantastic!

I am always very impressed with his live performances! He teams with Chris to create the most awesome rhythm section in the biz!
