My name is Mawa. I am from Richmond, Va. Iam 45 as of today. Ive not been to the site for some time. It feels good to be back. Its great to see so much going on with Yes.
I cant wait to hear Steve's new CD. Do any of you know if thay will be coming
to the US anytime soon? My life time dream is to see them play live and to meet them in person. Ive been a big fan from way back in the 70's.
I see that alot of you here have met the band. I sure would love to hear
some of your storys. Anyway hope to talk with you all soon.

May the moon and stars shine on you always.
Peace Mawa

Hey Mawa welcome back! I thought of you this morning because I saw that it was your birthday! I hope you had a happy one.

I'm from Stafford, Virginia, which is about 65 miles north of Richmond up I95.

Happy Birthday!
After 30 years of waiting I finally got to meet the band just last year. Got my picture taken, some autographs, and had a brief chat with Steve. Without a doubt one of the highlights of my life. I've seen them in concert about 25 shows and by golly still have every ticket stub (going back to 1972).
Glad you broke the ice and made your first post!

OHHHHHH, well there's lots of stories like that around here. But they're rather spread out. Since thngs have been quite lately in the Yes camp, many of the threads about such things are rather old. I suggest you start over in the Tour talk forum http://www.yesfans.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=336 Make sure you set the "Display Options" to the beggining and start reading..... Yesfans has grown rather large since your last visit. It is by far the largest, and most popular Yes Fan site in the World! It is THE home of Yes fans!

Enjoy!

Welcome back Mawa!

Glad you found us again.

This summer is an exciting time, with the Syn/White/Howe tour!!!

When I joined the site, within several months I was able to meet the band in it's "classic" lineup...Anderson/Squire/Howe/Wakeman/White at a publicity jaunt at a local Tower Records.

More importantly than meeting the band, I made lifelong friends that night.

So welcome back! we love ya!

Welcome back Mawa!

Happy b-day to you! I am 45 as well.....and I think that is the most common age on Yesfans if I remember the poll correctly.

You are among friends and peers.

Peace

LOL Dee, it's Mawa. Wawa is that pedal that Steve uses.LOL, umgekehrt; Wawa is my Aunt Wawa, my mother's sister.
Welcome, Mawa. I am a one month old newbie. I have learned so much here. Example: for over 30 years I thought "mommas came out of the sky", but no, they're mountains! And why would a group of moms (perhaps mine among them) just "stand there"? Yesfans changed my life; 30 years of convoluted oedipus complex straightened in an instant! Yes!
I'm thinking of starting my first thread soon and hope you will add your 2 cents or even drop a dime, if I should need a staightener.

Where the moon walks and the sun sails,
