Hello everyone,
Some of you may know me from my irregular pattern of posting on a.m.y. (is that a bad word around here?)<G>
There is not much that distinguishes me from the run of the mill Yes fan other than AMYCD. I've been a Yes fan since 1971 or 72, one of those loyalist types who never had another favorite band, though I'm not particularly rabid in that regard.
These days I focus most of my attention on the AMYCD projects. AMYCD is a group of fans that originated on alt.music.yes, dedicated to promoting the music of musicians who also happen to be fans of Yes. We have released (so far) 2 albums, Cyberian Khatru, and The Second Attention. These albums are collections of the best music by fans of the band we all agree is the bestest ever (<G>s to Steve S)
Our Website is:
http://www.amycd.com
and you can sample the music at
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/amycd
and
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/amycd2
We are always interested in hearing from other musicians who love Yes, so drop by our mailing list at
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/AMYCD/
and let us know what you think. We would like to hear other musicians and other similar projects and want to help promote the "Back To Progressive" grass roots musicians.
See ya'll around the forums!
