Yupper,
I'm talking about "The Meeting" on ABWH. Sorry.
I can play it but the guy singing at my wedding needs the music. Life would be easier if he just learned it of the CD. It's not that hard (singing in Jon's nad-less range is a different story)
Jake2222 (please tell me what that means), I have been searching the web for the better part of 4 hours looking for the sheet music you are needing for your wedding--to no avail. I cannot imagine where you are going to be able to find it. Hopefully one of The Guys will see this and send you a copy. Wouldn't that be cool!

Pat,
Thanks for giving a shot man. I've spent many hours myself. I also have a few friends that are music teachers and they couldn't find it either.
I've just resolved to transcribing it myself. It's really not that difficult.
Since most Yes fans are educated musicians, though I'd pass on a couple of the other tunes we're including if you give a rat's a$$:
- The Meeting
- Morning has Broken
- Hallelujah (off the Shrek soundtrack believe it or not)
- Joy (standard churchy tune)
- Great Gate of Kiev - Prominade and Reprise (ELP did some nice renditions)
We're also going to have "if Only You Knew" off The Ladder as our Bridal dance. Guess I'm a Yes geek but there's no better music.
Thanks VERY MUCH to all the Yes fans for trying to help me find this music!
Jake
(the 2222 is only so that I don't have to use a different log in name for every singe site I log into).
P.S. I heard a rumor that Wakeman is joing Yes again for a tour. PLEASE TELL ME IT'S TRUE!
P.S.S Chris rocked during the Magnification show in Milwaukee but, he was WASTED. Talked to him after the show - gotta love it!
Squire is GOD.

1--You are correct!
2--You are welcome!
3--Thanks for the clarification. I could not imagine...
4--Yes, it's true
5--Squire is GOD/Jon is GOD too.
Sorry I could not find it for you. I surely gave it the old college try. Your song list sounds very nice. I have a couple of others you might think about: From Jon's solo recording called Page of Life--Anyone Can Light A Candle and Shine For Me. Both very lovely and I think appropriate for a wedding. Good luck on getting the transcription of The Meeting.
Yes is the best.

Folks,
Just wanted to say thanks for trying to help me. Here's a cc from a note I sent to another Yes fan. FYI...
Mike,
I can't tell the Yes fans how much I appreciate people like you who have searched or thrown suggestions my way. I don't think I can convey how much frustration I've had trying to track down something as simple as sheet music to a fantastic tune. Again, thanks to everyone who have tried to help out.
I've actually resorted to a couple of options:
- Just play the dam tune myself. It's not that hard. However, the groom accompanying at his own wedding is kind-of an odd thing.
- Transcribe it myself. Problem is, I'm far from an expert - I'm just your normal schmuck (I do know how to play my "rendition" fairly well).
- I've thought about playing it on my digital piano and recording it on a CD. I can throw the strings in that way.
IF I have time (and that's a big if when planning a wedding in Rochester NY when you live in Milwaukee), I'd love to be able to transcribe it so that I can pass the tune on to people like us.
Keep your eyes open on the board. Maybe I can post a rookie's version of the tune if that doesn't break any rules.
Jake
P.S. I might cc this to the discussion board to say thanks to the others that have sent me suggestions.
