I was looking through The Yes Catalogue and was struck by all of the different versions of OOALH there are. I knew of two or three but according to the catalogue there have been at least EIGHT versions released.

The 'Original' mix (4:27) and LP mix (4:29) are probably the same (though I haven't got them both to compare).

The there is 'Move yourself' mix (4:35), 'Wonderous' mix (5:24), 2Close to the edge mix (4:38), Not Fragile mix (4:45), Red and Blue mix (7:50), Edited version (3:50) and the Extended remix (7:03).

Has anyone heard all of these versions? Was it worth the effort to do them all?

I have a few versions on vinyl. They're 12 inch singles. I have the Red and Blue mix and the Edited version and the Extended remix. To be honest I can't remember all of them. It's been a while since I got them all out. They're in storage with my albums. I do remember loving everything I heard, and thinking how cool they sounded, but then again, I am a big OOALH fan.

I do like the demo version the best that Trevor did by himself. The words are completely different.

I have several versions for Rhythm Of Love also and Love Will Find Away.

They're all pretty fun to listen to.....if your a fan of the songs that is. :headset:

When YesYears was released, OOALH was re-released in the UK as a CD Single with a lot of re-mixes. I personnaly do not like them, as they sounded too hip hop for me.

I do have the Love will find away 12" vynal that Cindy spoke of. It is Excellent with an extended guitar intro, and a bit of an extended guitar solo in the middle. Better than the one on the album by a long shot.

Gee I'd forgotten that. Yes it was good. I need to get those out and listen to them again.

My turn table is broken...
I have loads of vynal i'd love to hear again..... then again what with the house rules i'd doubt i'd be allowed to.... c'est la vie...

And of course you need to add the seven new remixes that have just been released in the UK. Plus I'm sure there's a "2000" mix somewhere too.

I've got all the ones mentioned above plus a version called the Todd Terry Re-mix .. it came out in 1998. It is pretty much the same as the other re-mixes.

I've also got a version done by a rap band called 2Ruff . . it is very weird.
