Hi,
With a new DVD comming any day now , I just wanted to make some comments on the one that came out 2 years ago. I couldn't find a forum for Yes videos and DVDs so I hope this is the right place.
I was lucky enough to be at the show which comprised the House of Yes concert. I wish that "Hearts" and "Close to the Edge" would have made it on there but , oh well. My favorite songs are "Yours is no Disgrace" , "Homeworld" , "Perpetual Change" and "Awaken". "Lightning Strikes" and "And you and I" are really good too. The "Homeworld" in 5.1 is amazing! I don't have a 5.1 system but I was fortunate enough to have a friend show it to me. I'd really like to see the whole concert in 5.1 personally.
I wish that it would have been edited better though. I can't believe that the lyrics to "The Messenger" were put back in wrong from what Jon sang. They should have left it alone. "Perpetual Change" and "Lightning Strikes" feature questionable editing as well. They cut right to Jon Andersons mouth when he sings the wrong lyrics. Duh! Show Alan White drumming or something there instead.
All in all though I really enjoy this DVD. I've spent many a night with it. I just hope the Symphonic one has better editing.
