Into the Lens on the Radio!!!!!

I'm driving home from work tonight, flipping stations, and I hit the "classic rock" station that I usually ignore but that purports to have a "classic progressive rock" show on Sunday nights, called Stone Tracks.

I hear some old Kansas, so I leave it on. The next song, much to my massive delight, is Into the Lens!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drama got some airplay when it was new, but not much since. I have two copies of Drama on disc in the house, original and Rhino, and there was a copy in the bag of cassettes I take to work on the passenger seat next to me at that very moment.

Even though I got home before the song was over, I stayed in the car and listened. It didn't matter that I have multiple Drama copies that I can, and often do, access at will. This was a radio event to be savored.

Any other Drama radio sightings out there?

i once asked for 'does it really happen' to be played on the radio over here, and the dj had never heard of Drama!
he played 'yours is no disgrace' the full version, it was great!

There's a junior college north of here with a station that I tune in whenever I'm within range. I happened to hear a Yes song one morning so I called the DJ in hopes he might include one more. "Yes is the featured artist". Whoa. Three hours of Yes. The entire CTTE, Sound Chaser (at my request), Jon solos, and yes even a song from Drama! It was quite a while ago so I don't remember which one.

There may yet be hope for FM radio. ;)

I've never heard anything from Drama played on the radio but once in the early 90s there used to be a show on Much Music called Backtrax and they played the video for Into the Lens one time.

The only time I ever heard ANYTHING from DRAMA on the radio was during the local Classic Rock station's promos for the upcoming YES concerts...about 10-15 years ago.
I forget if it was for the Union or Talk tour.

After the voice-over guy would say "Get ready for..."
it would quickly cut to the part from TEMPUS FUGIT with the extended "YESSSS"

and that was it.
