Hi

JUst curious if anyone know...

Does Chris Squire suffer from back problems or something?
Cause several times I've seen him switch instrument, and he seems to have trouble bending over, so someone comes on stage and lifts off his bass, and hangs another onto him.

I don't know, but I always thought he was just hamming it up with his triple-neck when he did that. Not that Chris is one to ham it up or anything. Also, he seems to get down in a crouch well enough at the end of "Whitefish." But I see what you're saying; he bows stiffly when they do their Beatle Bow.

Not that Chris is one to ham it up or anything.C'mon, Chris can be a TOTAL ham!

I loved his big strut across the front of the stage during Wurm on the last tour. He looked like he was having a blast!

I don't think Chris has back problems. He probably has a roadie help him change instruments because he's so damned tall. Plus, how much does the damned triple neck actually weigh?

I think it would be normal for someone of Chris' height, age and size to find bending and flexing more difficult than when they were younger.
I've really noticed this too. It is beautiful in a way, we watch the same people getting older, changing, much as with our families.
Chris is probably not as tall as he used to be either. His bear-like posture shows some curving.
I think it's a natural development; time brings visible change.
