Hi there,
back in 1989/1990, I was very sorry about Yes being divided in two (Yes west and ABHW) and was secretly dreaming of the two joining forces to do a even better job that they already could do separately...
Then came Union and my first reaction was 'Wow man, they DID it!!!'
Of course, it was not a real collaboration and after an excellent tour, the Union lineup was history.
We can only wonder about what would have result if all those great musicians had really worked together on new material.
Thinking about this makes me dream of a return of the Union lineup, or at least the return of Rabin and Bruford, and why not, the return of guys like Downes, Moraz or Banks in a sort of 'EXTENDED UNION' lineup, for what could be a real killer new album!
Dreaming is free!
