I've got their CD "Eat Me in St.Louis" and the cover has Roger Dean lettering and art design , photography by Martyn Dean, they are managed by Brian Lane and SunArts and are with Premier Talent ;
all YES affiliations , so it may be true.
Oh , and they are quite good !

Hi All - I have got all of the "It Bites" albums. They released Three studio ones and one live one. And yes they are very good indeed. The CD's can be a little hard to find these days as the band made the last one in the late 1980's I think.
It's a pity that the band dosen't exist anymore as they had a great sound, very reminiscent of Yes in parts. Great Bass lines, good multi part harmony vocals, and great keyboard and guitar work.
The lead singer was none other than Francis Dunnery who in my opinion made the big mistake of going solo. I have got two of his solo albums but they are not a patch on the "It Bites" stuff.
For those that like to know all the trivia, Francis Dunnery also is credited with backing vocals on ABWH so there is a definite Yes connection in there.
"It Bites" are a very northern English band who came from Cumbria I believe, which is not usually noted for its production of fine musicians. However in this case they definitely came up with the goods.
If you get a chance have a listen to them, you will not be disapointed I guarantee you!!

I had bought the CD a few years ago because I had read they were Yes inspired and had their cover designed by Roger Dean (featured in his great book "Wiews"). I was a bit disappointed when I listened to the CD but that was years ago as I said and I may like it more now. I'll have another go.
However, it seems strange that it should be Jon's favourite band. Isn't it a legend invented by someone ?
