Hi everybody,
I am looking for a remastered version or mini papersleeve edition of Chris's 1. solo album "Fish out of water". I've searched the web but couldn't find it.
Since there have been remastered editions of Rick's and Jon's albums I hoped there was also this brilliant one by Chris. I own a japanese pressing of it from the 90ies (Atlantic AMCY-19) but this surely isn't remastered. I think this excellent piece of music would benefit a lot of sound restorage.
Does anyone know if there are plans to reissue this album in a way that pays respect to the artist's effort?
I'd be glad to hear from you !!!
Thanks a lot !

Anduandi, I think such plans have been halted because the original tapes are lost, as Chris said in an interview last summer. As I recall, he said that in the context of someone asking the same question you ask, so no remaster. Somebody please correct me if my memory is off...

Hi and thanx for your answer.
Well I think that a remastered safety copy would surely sound better than my japanese copy. I am listening to it right now and it sounds really crap !
Imagine how crisp and clear and rich in detail this songs could sound if....
Please Chris it should be possible to do a sound restoration even with a second or third tape-generation.
What do you think ?
