Has there been any comeback on the NFTE big gen reissue petition?
I recently acquire a 12" single with three good (!) remixes of Rhythm of Love.
How can Rhino claim there's not enough material?

I couldn't believe Rhino's excuse either. Between the demos and the remixes that's plenty right there, plus any outtakes from the sessions that might not be circulating. The Yes Album was kind of short on bonus material and it didn't stop them putting that one out.

And with repeated listenings I can concur with other forumites, BG NEEDS to be reissued/remixed. Some of the sound quality is just sub-par for a Yes record, and it can get in the way of otherwise excellent music.

Maybe it'll get re-released someday.

You might need to purchase a new turntable ( I recommend Pro-Ject, with a phono box, which are extremely affordable, but very High end on performance -- always gets high ratings from any European magazine), some Sennheiser headphones, and find yourself a copy of the original vinyl release. Because what you're hearing is a crappy 2 track master transferred from analogue to digital, of a great analogue/digital recording. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of Big Generator, you just might be listening to it on the incorrect media. I know for a fact that the cd version currently out there doesn't compare to the Vinyl release. And the stereo is also flipped the wrong way around on the CD as well.
