Reach, mighty oak to the edge of the sky
In winter’s grey, the climbing branches high
Stretch like capillaries feeding nature’s orb
Roots replenished soil
Darkened brushstrokes contrast lightened skies
The wonder bounds unto the morning sun
Beauty is the color of the day
A newborn heart
Pure like dripping dew from new spring leaves
Quenching thirsts of suffered age
Drawing day into the heart of timeless love.
