"Telephone Secrets"
XYZ
Verse 1
"Can you hear me
Or am I talking to myself?
That's the distance I feel
When we're talking by a satellite."
Verse 2
"Are you near me?
I can't feel nobody else?
You're keeping up close
But you're keeping way out of sight.
Oh oh oh oh oh Telephone Secrets
Oh oh oh oh oh Telephone Lies.
Verse 3
I know somethin'
Please don't tell anybody else.
It's just the symptom of disease
That we see it in the city lights. (this line Im not 100%)
Verse 4
Ill tell you one thing,
Im not speaking for my health
If you listen in close
Then you get the information right.
Oh oh oh oh oh Telephone Secrets
Oh oh oh oh oh telephone spies.
Verse 1 (repeat)
Verse 2 (repeat)
Oh oh oh oh oh Telephone Secrets
oh oh oh oh oh Telephone Lies
Verse 3 (repeat)
Verse 4 (repeat)
Oh oh oh oh oh Telephone Secrets
Oh oh oh oh oh Telephone Lies
oh oh oh oh oh Telephone Secrets
Oh oh oh oh oh Telephone Spies
I know I might be off a litte tiny bit in Verse 3 and 4...

Since you have mentioned it here... I was wondering....... I noticed on another website that lists some of the bootleg stuff there is something that exists on DVD of the XYZ sessions?
Is this correct? I am going to try and find it again and post what it was if I can.
I am very curous to see what some of this work sounded like? I would never trade any of the Music that has been done by YES and it's many elite members in the past, but I sure would love to have been able to hear what Robert Plant or Roger Hodgson (Spelling?) could have done with this experiment by Chris?

Anyone think Chris will record 'Telephone Secrets' either solo or with Yes? I have heard the XYZ tape of it and I would think it's worth recording again. Or what about the other XYZ tune that became 'Fortune Hunter' for The Firm? Should Chris record that?

I really enjoy Telephone Secrets. Its kinda quirky and I love Jimmy Page's angular guitar work on it.
It has potential, I wish it would have gotten recorded fully realized.

This song is a non instrumental version of a song almost identical ryhthmically and melodically, called song no. 4 (satellites) by Yes off of the album Drama. It has better quality, for obvious reasons, but i wish they recorded it with the lyrics
