I am a great fan of Trevor Rabin , and still listen regularly,with the same joy,to his music whether with YES or on his solo albums .Although he left YES because there were some disagreements,like in any other great band, on where to go next.
Surely even with YES,he was the guy with the ideas and he was omni-present: He was an arranger,a producer , a sound engineer and adding to that,the virtuosity of his guitar playing. All in all,he was an undisputed born-leader and he was too much ,for some,to deal with . It isn't easy being a genius!!!
Eventually when Steve Howe showed interest and made his come back,after leaving the band with almost the same reasons as Trevor did, the decision was made already : There won't be no two captains on one same ship.
None of us should be blaming anyone , it's just a "battle" of interest, en we don't always know all details.
Nevertheless, Trevor Rabin, will forever remain a star,shining bright,for many of us.Therefore he deserves to be admired by all of us ! I wonder if Cinderella admires him more than some of us(!)(sorry Cinderella!no offence!)

I don't think I admire him anymore that his other fans. He's just a terrific musician/singer/songwriter/producer and a wonderful person. I'm just so glad I discovered him. His music has enlightened my life. :D
