Does anyone know where the track I'm Alive has been other than ABWH? I got a version off of Napster that is more Rabin-era sounding. It has a lyric that goes:
"Children of the east Children of the west, putting friendship to the test."
ANd at the end Jon is saying "In this love of my life!" over and ovewr agian. I like this version. It's very catchy, but sounds like it might be a demo?
Anyone?

Although I don't remember I'm Alive, I got a bunch of ABWH songs off of Napster under the heading We Make Believe, and then saw a boot on Yesworld called WMB, a collection of Jon & Steve demos for a second album. In Say Yes, Rick says that he and Jon had several songs down for rehearsal but "the others" were just not motivated. They are catchy numbers but a lot different than the first album. (I suspected a couple may even be GFTO leftovers)
Is there a significant difference between "demos" and the finished product, among their music?
I also got one call ed "Don't Look Away"(?) by "Yes" but sounds like one - big - Rabin - OD - on - Rabin. Any ideas where that's from ?

I'm Alive is an edited version of Quartet which can be found on the ABWH video compilation In The Big Dream. Don't Look Away is actually Can't Look Away which can be found on Trevor Rabin's solo album of the same name.:)
