Hello everybody!
Hmm, a little about myself. I got into Yes in the mid-eighties. The song that got me interested in Yes, and I get a lot of slack for this, was "Leave It". It sounded so innovative to me, unlike anything that I had ever heard, and I appreciate creativity. Now that I am familiar with their 70's material, I have a preferance towards that, but I still like the aforementioned song!

welcome lucky seven. I got into Yes first in the 1970s, thanks to my dad but my real love for them was awakened when they released Big Generator . I now prefer the early stuff but still have a soft spot for BG.

Yes, I know what you mean. Even though I don't think it gets any better than the epic 20 minute pieces, I still like to listen to 90125 and occasionally Big Generator. Gasp! I know, but I think there are some good songs on those albums. I would really like to find a live version of "Leave It" to see what it sounded like live. So far, I have not come across one. It is good to see there are some other fans out there that like both eras of Yes.

There is a live version of leave it on the video 9012live, it is well worth looking out for, I did not manage to get to that tour but from what I can see on the video it must have been really good, I am a big fan of Trevor Rabin and he really shows off on this tour.

I have the vinyl 9012live, but I don't remember seeing Leave It. Then again, I have not listened to it in a very long time. Thanks! I'll check it out.
