On checking Amazon (UK), a new DVD is scheduled for release on 1st November, 2004 entitled 'Inside Yes' - priced at £9.74.

Does anyone have any further information on this release?

This is the comment from Henry Potts page:

'Due in Nov in the UK is the DVD "Inside Yes (1968-1973)" (Region 2 PAL; Classic Rock Productions, CRL1611). Precise content remains unclear, but it is a documentary made without the band's official involvement and it promises archival live footage not previously released on DVD and new interviews'

If it's anything like the 'Inside Genesis' title in the same series I really wouldn't bother. It will probably be a bunch of clips and then people who may or may not have anything to do with band talking about the music.

I got this DVD today.

It's pretty much what I expected and what it says on the blurb. Though I don't think there is any concert footage that I haven't seen before. It only covers the first five years or so of the bands career up to Topographic Oceans. Showing clips of the band interspersed with record producers/music crtitics comments on the albums up to that point. By and large the comments surprisingly (given music critics and Yes) are very positive. Up until the point of Topographic when the views differ widely, from crap to inspired.
Steve is the only member of the band interviewed for the DVD.
Overall I'm glad I got it, I don't think there was too much new in there, but it was quite pleasing to see that not all music critics hate Yes.
