Quantum asked me about other YES favourites that stand out.
Ritual from TFTO is a must, saw them do it live for the first time at the Apollo hammersmith in Dec. The thing about YES is that some of their songs go on and on but unlike most other bands there is no repidity and the deviations that they bring into play are something else.
America from Yesterdays is also a top tune, Stevie boy out does himself on this one, his solo has to rank alongside EC`s riff on Crossroads.
Of their more recent albums TALK would seem to hold its own compared with their earlier stuff and on a more commercial flavour, Love will find a way always gears me up when getting ready to go out on a saturday night.
Changing the subject ever so slightly, Whatever happened to Bill Nelson of Be-Bop deluxe fame, another lead guitarist extrordinaire.
