Caps on threads with 1000/700 psots

In order to TRY to help keep the server fro telling you server busy or database error the mods and the admin will be closing threads and opening part 2, 3, 4... as follows

Threads with 1k psots, few images loaded, will be closed and a part II or III will be opened with the same title.

Threads with 700 posts that have a fair amount of images loaded, will be rolled to a new part II or the like..

These numbers may go up or down based on site needs.

Sorry but this will be the norm for the time being. I think you rather see more rolled over threads then more site down time!

Also, if you are the starter of a thread, and the above mentioned scenario occurs, you can close your own thread and start a new one, if for whatever reason you want to be the first "poster" in each thread (knows as the thread "starter").

When The Pub Needs To Be Reopened Why Don't You Give It Back To Scoot.

Have Scoot contact one of the Mods when they are on-line and set this up. We don't need to wait until it gets to 1000. Just PM the Mod that's on-line at the time and the Mod will close the current one and Scoot can open a new one. Then he can monitor it and close and open at the 1000 post mark.
