Just saw this recently. What is up with Jon's face? Was he taking salt pills or something?

No pills, he just 'partied' too much and too long, he was turning into Prog Elvis...then he met Jane Luttenberger and she is his wife now.

Which brings me back to another theory of mine....theory # 57,963 to be exact, but whose counting and I think only 2 were ever remotely right.

Anyway. I think that YesWest partied too much and ABWH was little more serious and less party oriented.

Yep, you got that right. Anyone got any details? I know this sounds rather ghoulish but i do think these things relate to issues such as the general state of the band, quality of live playing etc.
Though having said all that, i think my video of the opening night of the Talk tour has a good energy in performance, JonElvis or not.

Anyone out there have both and care to compare?

my understanding is that jon was on steroids for his back problems. as a result, bloating ensued, not unlike jerry lewis' problem with bloating.
