Hi Yesfans,
I found out about this site not too long ago, and it is a nice alternative to Notes From the Edge, at least to me, because it is more conversation oriented.
I have been a Yesfan for a couple of years now, and that was no easy task. I could not stand them when I first heard them, and it took a live performance to get me hooked. The first Yes show that I saw was on the Masterworks tour, a great first concert to attend! Even though at that time I did not know the songs really, I was enraptured during the whole show. So much so that I attended another show 2 weeks later.
After the concert in the weeks that followed I went on a crash course to Yes music. I listened to a different album everyday (which I was able to do because my boyfriend has all of their albums). My favorite album is probably The Yes Album, I think because that was the first album that I got into, and Starship Trooper had a big impact on me at the live show initially.
As a side note, I am also an Aries. I read the post that pointed out that many fans were. Here is another.
