I think you'll find many others on this site who will agree!
And they're probably all female! LOL

LOL, I'll try not to eavesdrop on all the female adoration that Chris is getting from the "Chris is Hot!!!!!" club... He sure is a hot bassist, performer, and songwriter, I know that much...
Chris has been my favorite member of Yes for many years. FOOW is by far my favorite Yes solo album (I think that's saying a lot because there are some really good ones)...
And it's probably kinda "political" ("You can't quit, we fired you!" sort of territory?) but I still very much admire the fact that the Fish has been the sole constant in the ever-changing Yes line-up. I may not always know who will be Yes' keyboardist next week, but I really enjoy being able to reasonably expect to find that familiar face laying down the bottom line... "The Caretaker," I think Trevor Rabin called him... I like that...
I like that he's working with Billy Sherwood, too... Since Chris has turned me on to Conspiracy just by being in it, I could listen to those two albums over and over. Great stuff...

Sorry.....Chris is hot, yes......but I think his bass leads are the sexiest thing about him. I dated too many bass players when I was young to not appreciate where you feel a bass line, especially a masterful one.....Last time we saw YES my hubby said the during "Starship Troopers", Chris's low rumbling notes were making his boys tingle, if you catch my drift! My response was "Welcome to my world!"
Chris is without a doubt the master & God of bass guitar!!!

Hi Remember:
I am sooooooooo glad to see that there is someone out there that thinks well of Conspirarcy 1 & 2. Various posts often put these two offerings down. Let me say that I do not play bass but was raised around classical music. The last people I rely upon to shape my opinion are "critics", yet at numerous sites that I cannot name at this time (just finishing up a 15 hr. work day) have raved/praised, you name it, everything from bass, vocals, harmony, depth, coloring, technique and so on. I am w/u. I play those two cds over and over, fitting FOOW in there too. My Conspirarcy 1 needs to be replaced!!
Hope to see more posts like yours and hopefully turn some people on to what they are missing IMHO.
PS..I am using this icon tonight only because I had toyed w/the idea of saying that we must turn people to the "dark side" and that conjured up the quote that Jon made stating that our Chris is Darth Vadar!! :1svader:
