I threw this in the other night to listen, and watch, for instruments used at the end of Awaken, especially keyboards.

Excellent observation! And indeed he does.

I would love to hear him live on the pedal. While the fender 'lap' is great for the biting tones, the mellowed sound of a pedal would kick 'Soon' into the stratosphere 'live'.

As far as I know, the San Louis Obispo shows were the only time Howe ever used the pedal live.

'To Be Over': Just me being maudlin: If YES ever decides to 'pack it up' (banish the thought!) 'TBO' should be the last song they ever play.
