Something I saw this morning on the YesMusic BB reminded me of a tape I put together a few years ago, that I still listen to alot. It's not a Best of, or My Favorites or anything, but my idea of a good show. Sorry, no epics included here:

Side 1:
The Order of the Universe (9:02)
Themes (5:58)
Astral Traveller (5:50)
Something's Comin' (7:06)
I'm Running (7:34)
Cinema / Leave It (6:31)
On the Silent Wings of Freedom (7:45)
I'm Down (2:31)

Side 2:
No Opportunity (4:47)
Hold On - 9012Live (6:44)
America (10:31)
Lift Me Up (6:30)
Every Little Thing (5:24)
Does It Really Happen? (6:34)
Tempus Fugit (5:14)
Your Move (ABHW PPV)

Well - that's mine. Show me yours!

I had a similar tape I made called "Yes Rocks" with songs I thought really rocked out. Recently I remade it on cd, had to cutout a few, and make some changes to make it fit. This is what I have on the cd:

On The Silent Wings Of Freedom, 7:46
Release, Release, 5:43
Tempus Fugit, 5:16
Run Through the Light, 4:42
State of Play, 4:57
Real Love, 8:44
The Messenger, 5:13
Parallels, 6:11
Almost Like Love, 4:58
I'm Running, 7:34
Dangerous, 3:38
City Of Love, 4:52
Fist of Fire, ABWH, 3:28

Listening to it now.

I read a while back on the Yesgigs 1968-80 list that Release, Release was dropped from the setlist on the Tormato tour because it took too much out of Alan White. I can believe that. I think some of his best work is on this piece...

A tape I once recorded ( but never gave a name) has these songs:

Future Times
Rejoice
Don't kill the whale
Madrigal
Release, Release
Arriving UFO
Awaken
Red and White

Wow, thanks to MP3 we don't have to make selections tapes or CDs anymore.

And I, for one, miss that.
