Hi Guys & Gals,

Can anyone please help? Sorry of this is in the wrong place.

I've been trying to source 'An Evening of Yes Music Plus' on either DVD or video - with no luck at all.

Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find and then buy the beast? I have the CD and it's excellent, just need to have it on 'watchable' format now.

Any and ALL help appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Cheers
Bren.

Bren..HI there.

I did a google search of this "An Evening of YES DVD" in the search engine, I got an amazon hit but got other private companies ( US) that you had to fill out forms to purchase. So give this search engine a try.

www.google.com and type in those words above. Good luck. ~Patty

The DVD pops up on Ebay frequently. I just checked and it's not there now, but I recommend checking back every three or four days. That's where I found the copy I have.

Unfortunately Bren, The DVD and VHS are very very out of print...

I found mine at a mall in California about 4 years ago....I can't imagine how or why it was still in stock but Lo and behold it was...

Ive seen it go on Ebay for as much as 200 dollars....I still don't understand why it hasn't come back into print. I also know there was an inferior Brazillian version that was poorly copied and split into two seperate DVD's...in the wrong running order and attached at the end of one of them was "In the Big Dream"..the VHS 30 minute video that ABWH came out with that has the videos form the album and a few behind the scenes studio stuff.

I do, however have a prestine copy of the originally released VHS from Griffen Video.

I could sell that to someone. I wouldn't even know what to price it at..but i would also want to be incredibly fair to anyone interested on the site who wants it. I would cover shipping. I just didnt know people would be interested in the VHS version...:)

How about if someone on the site had the software to transfer video to DVD and could then weed it. No? Would that be allowable as a weed if it's something that's out of print? Probably not eh?

It may be out of print but I think the issue here is that it is still commercially available, so I would have question marks about that one.

Hello,
well I have to disagree here, if it "is" commercially available, why can't we find a copy of it? Plus, if in this case, if we find someone who is selling it, we can be 500% sure that it is a used copy, and we would need to pay maybe a couple hundred dollars to get it?? for me it is not available if I need to convince someone to sell me his copy. A friend of mine has to convince a guy in Russia to get his DVD copy! My opinion about it is that this one is a very tradeable item. If the only way to get the item is to get a very very rare used copy for a non reasonable price, then the item is tradeable IMHO.

If we count the possible (or maybe not) situation they decide to release it again, I'm sure we will all want the original one with the roger dean cover and etc, then the item will become non-tradeable again.

Greetings

Claudio

Bren, you can often find it on ebay but sometimes it is a little pricey. I been thinking of picking it up myself but have a fear of imports sometimes. There is a couple different ABWH shows available on ebay from time to time but I have seen the one that is like the double cd we all own that you spoke of.

I would love to say this is a tradeable item, but the simple fact is that since it was commcercially released, its not something that should be weeded out.

I have the original dvd that I tried to sell on ebay a couple months ago, but the buyer never sent the money for it. I guess he decided it was too expensive.
